North American Birch Ply (1/2" x 4' x 8')

is our "all-purpose" plywood, which is still fairly high quality compared to most shops that use A/C ply for their lower-quality option. Employing a blade with a high tooth-count and/or applying masking tape over your cut line can contribute to a finer edge when cutting, and finishing your edges with a router outfitted with round-over bit can establish a uniform finishing edge with minimal splintering.
